My parents didn't do the letter thing, but they very often would give me phone numbers with only five digits--the first two were always the same for everyone in our town.

We've always believed in serving our community with open arms and good food-no shutdown can stop that.

My favorite Miles story: a friend of mine went to see him about this era -- mid 70's. Well, the band's instruments didn't show up on time. So out walks Miles, exactly on time for the concert, pulls up a chair, and just stares at the audience. Says NOTHING. For ninety minutes.

I actually think this is a very good idea. I will note for the record that the prohibition against generalized standing was meant to mark a division between judicial and legislative functions. If everybody had the same complaint, your relief was "vote the bums out." Obviously no longer viable.

I'm just one person, and my programming needs are somewhat unusual (building various kinds of statistical forecasting models). But I'm just not seeing the consistent productivity gains from LLMs that I would have expected if you'd asked me 6 months ago.
