No. The problem is that too many of the staff we have at the bottom of the pyramid are underproducing relative to the folks at the next levels up when they were at the *same* level.

Are you still in the industry? Entry level is $90k here and I'm not talking NYC or metro. Most junior staff still start with a Bachelor's and uncredentialed. There is no reason to stay in public if you don't like the work or lifestyle, given the high market demand for accounting professionals.

I think that's anecdotal, but so is this: We've had major issues in public accounting with Gen Z junior staff "quiet quitting" (but not actually quitting) and Millennial staff picking up their slack and burning out.
