Corn Diggers (1967-circa 1986): A corn-based cracker/chip hybrid from Nabisco, meant to taste like hot buttered corn, and shaped like little shovels/scoops for eating with dip.
A greenish-yellow box, with the Nabisco logo in the top left corner. On the box below the name "corn diggers snacks" is a picture of a chunky white dip in a red bowl, with two shovel-shaped corn chips stuck in it. To the right is a pile of yellow, shovel-shaped corn chips Two men in collared shirts and sweaters sit on the sideline of a football game. One holds up a bag of corn diggers, the other a jar of Planters cheez balls

little thing I’ve been chipping away at between work hehe 🌸 I thought it would be interesting to go for a sort of surreal vibe with unnatural colors and values. not sure if I accomplished that but I still like it. reminds me of Lisa frank perhaps

From our collection: two sheets of preliminary/practice drawings by John Buscema. Amazing what one is able to acquire at reasonable cost when one is focussed on art and artists rather than on characters.

That's very tragic, I can't imagine.

Rolled my ankle going downhill yesterday and banged my knee. I've clearly reached that point in middle age where I need to avoid catastrophic injuries while... *checks notes* walking.

...and King Under Sea, because. All Hookland art is a seen out of the corner of the mind's eye thing with rare (one, actually) exceptions. They could look like many things. They looked like this to me in that instant.
Stern male figure underwater with a crown of driftwood and seaweed with a baleful stare.
