a fantasy map depicting a hell. from the top to the bottom: there's a submarine city of strange towers and glass domes connected to a giant computer in the midst of reefs. a river and a lake goes south from this city in the midst of some ruins, ending on a big dam from where a timid river flows through a desert canyon. beyond the desert, there's another stretch of sea separating it from another city at the end of the map. there are planets hovering above this landscape: the remains of mars and a primeval earth covered in lava, fumes, guns and forts.

My current work-in-progress: 18"x24" oil painting of a foggy, closed-in forest.

Was originally going for a darker forest but the bright mist in the distance has stuck, and it does seem to make a good contrast.

I've really only got one, and it's not THAT funny, but here goes. We were at my Aunt Molly's for Christmas dinner. That's odd all by itself; I don't remember why that made sense. She didn't really like hosting large groups, Aunt Geenie was the traditional host, and Mum didn't really like Molly. 1/5

Here's a different take on the koi drawing.

I have trouble controlling my lines sometimes because my hand shakes. It used to bother me a lot & I'd spend time trying to correct them, but nowadays, I'm like, to hell with it. It proves a flawed human drew this imperfect thing with human intent 🙂
