In my lifetime the GOP has:

Betrayed American hostages in Iran to win an election
Sold weapons to terrorists
Crashed the economy multiple times
Shut down the gov multiple times
Taken away women's right to bodily autonomy
Put children in debt for school lunches

And their voters did get over it

If leftist protestors engage in violence, they will be terrifying Trump's narrative, not their own
ronfilipkowski.bsky.social
The people who want violent protests to happen are Trump, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth, Tom Homan, and other senior appointees in his admin. They are doing everything they possibly can to provoke people to violence and it is obvious that is what they hope for daily.

I *wish* Pelosi were this cool

Why are their lies always so outlandish?

If you want to claim protestors did some vandalism, sure, you could convince people. But "burn down cities?" Come the fuck on

Also, eucalyptus in this context is a drug

Never have I ever made Robert De Niro say "fuck that" about something I did
gtconway.bsky.social
Robert De Niro: “Now we have a would-be king — King Donald the First. Fuck that. I’m Robert De Niro and I’m asking you to stand up and be counted in the nationwide No Kings protest on October 18th”

I actually don't really care if AI is useful/interesting/good for some things in education actually - it is besides these things clearly a big problem already that maybe need listing yet again:

"FDR was not antifa" and "FDR was against fascism" are certainly words

I would also like to know who you think "constitute[s] antifa." While we're at it, who constitutes "ennui," or who constitutes "enervation?"

They aren't leaving maga, they're virtue signaling

They'll still vote for maga next time around (if there is a next time)

But tools didn't replace skill or taste.

Give me a workshop full of the best tools and I still won't turn out a quality chair. My grandad though could do beautiful woodwork with a pen knife.

The odds are that every artist you listen to uses it, but most of them use it well so you don't even notice

It's a tool, nothing more, nothing less. Good craftsmen can do more with their tools than poor ones.

The problem with this metaphor is that an artist might like an expensive pencil set if someone bought them one, even though they knew it wouldn't make them a better artist.

No artist would like it if someone bought them an AI

“Claim of an IED”
But apparently no one knows who claimed it, when or where.

IMO the “IED” lies are instigated from the top, to tie protestors in with the “terrorist” narrative he’s trying to push.

Hamilton pushes back and says "this is no Carrie Underwood song." He cites more serious incidents, including the claim of an IED.

Perry: "What was in that?"

Hamilton: "I don't know."

This is like thinking "an expensive pencil set will make me a better artist!"

It's a tool, yes, but it fundamentally misunderstands what makes good art
