In my lifetime the GOP has:

Betrayed American hostages in Iran to win an election
Sold weapons to terrorists
Crashed the economy multiple times
Shut down the gov multiple times
Taken away women's right to bodily autonomy
Put children in debt for school lunches

And their voters did get over it

Give me a workshop full of the best tools and I still won't turn out a quality chair. My grandad though could do beautiful woodwork with a pen knife.

The odds are that every artist you listen to uses it, but most of them use it well so you don't even notice

It's a tool, nothing more, nothing less. Good craftsmen can do more with their tools than poor ones.

The problem with this metaphor is that an artist might like an expensive pencil set if someone bought them one, even though they knew it wouldn't make them a better artist.

I grew up with the only non-meat options being veggie burgers and mushroom burgers

I'm perfectly happy calling beyond meat patties "burgers." And they taste more like beef than anything McDonald's serves, no matter what they claim about their big macs
