I used to get a tube of smarties in a cylindrical tube just like that in my stocking every Christmas. Happy 1970s memories.
Sure was. And Vindaloo was utterly depressing
Feeling utterly despondent today. How do I reassure my 17 year old daughter who is quite honestly terrified of the future?

"Damn those foreigners I hate them."

"Yeah but I gotta go get some of their tasty nosh tho."

"Yeah course, we will deport em after that."
Let's hope when we need to vote in polling stations the same thing happens.
Now if we can only rally the people who voted online for Gary to get off their bums and vote in polling stations when needed I might have some hope.

"Farage has given two contradictory versions of the purchase. One that he bought it and the other that his girlfriend owns it. If the second is correct then he has engineered a massive saving on stamp duty, larger than the one that forced Angela Rayner to resign." www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news...
'Hypocrite' Nigel Farage didn't pay £44k stamp duty then blasted Angela Rayner
Last year Nigel Farage announced he had bought a house in Clacton, Essex, but in fact it was his partner Laure Ferrari, 46, who shelled out almost £900,000 for the property

Loved recording my first appearance on Any Questions.

If you want to hear @greenparty.org.uk challenge Nigel Farages hypocrisy and call out the Governments participation in Genocide:

Angela Rayner resigns after accidentally paying the wrong amount of stamp duty.

Farage deliberately avoids stamp duty by putting his constituency home in his partner's name.

Also avoids full tax on his GBNews earnings...

Result: nothing to see here, move on...
Nigel Farage uses private company to pay less tax on GB News earnings
Exclusive: Reform leader’s use of personal services firm is a practice criticised across the political spectrum

Actually apply this to ALL journalists. What on earth is going on?
How do #bbcnews journalists feel at the moment? Are they uncomfortable? Do they feel that THIS is what they wanted to do? Do they think they are unbiased? Are they afraid? Do they care? Genuinely interested.

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Why are the press even reporting on the nonsense emanating from a racist fringe party that can't even keep a handful of MPs and councillors on board? I'd like to know about what the Greens and Lib Dems are proposing as policies please.
Great picture!
Wow! 900 miles!!!
Gosh. Ventured back to the old place as heard Geoff and Margaret Retirement Tales is back. They are as wonderful as ever, but the rest.....it really is quite terrible.
I noticed yesterday that lots of trees are already shedding their leaves as well. Seasons are shifting.
Wow, stunning! That really is something to wake up to!
Gosh that was a long stretch!
