The first console to appear in Italian cinema was (probably) the Seleco-Zanussi Gun-o-tronic, showing up in 1976 Il Signor Robinson (Mr. Robinson).
The Gun-o-tronic was the official gun accessory for the Ping-o-tronic, an early Italian Odyssey clone released around early 1975.

Interesting how the movie portrays games as the worst kind of mindless entertainment, the main hobby of bored rich people. While that might have been an easy target in the 80s or 90s (especially for Italy), for 1976 that is quite advanced.

1. The gaming press has been decimated by business suits, and the whims of an uncaring search engine behemoth
2. Doing the job means you get death threats and harassment
3. There are more games released in 1 week than there were in entire months in 2015

Rather, gaming press has been basically killed off. It was never an easy job, but I would never recommend it to anyone in good faith, unless they have another job to support themselves.

Thank Google and AI for killing the main source of revenue for all medium and small websites.
The few big websites left are just focusing on big stuff that gets them views, so no one wants to report on smaller things (unless you are writing them for free).

Finishing Nightmare on Elm Street NES on stream was an experience, especially because I started out saying "this game is not that bad", and by the end I was literally insulting it.
A couple of good design decisions were underutilized and a lot of laziness, not worth your time.
