We have a native hybrid penstemon that does the same thing — blue to purple rose blooms depending on the bloom cycle. It’s a great #pollinator #plant needs little care & people will stop and ask you what that plant is. Best part is the name, definitely a party Margarita BOP Penstemon.

Taunting. These guys don’t give up.

Shit, we used to have to only worry about tear gas. Now the asshole goons are shooting people in the face & head. Be safe out there & remember, they’re not very smart.

I agree. The number of people that will appear, even in a quiet neighborhood, is a gift (although in my case they thought that it was a rape whistle.)

We even have the aedes mosquitoes at Thanksgiving now so morning coffee or evening wine outside is just a memory. & those suckers don’t just bite once, they nibble until they find the perfect spot.
