What makes it weirder is it’s a British paper.

In Canada there would be no shortage of people defending bad landlords.

In America, they elected a president who has literally made a career out of bad business dealings and screwing over the little guy.

It says something positive about Irish public life that Jim Gavin had to withdraw from the Presidential race because he was a bad landlord who had stiffed a former tenant. #Aras25

Try to explain this headline to someone from the year 2010 as if it makes any sense at all.
Headline from the Telegraph which reads:

“Unmasked: inflatable frog tormenting ICE is non-binary ‘Antifa terrorist’.

Costumed figure, who called for death if Trump officials, has become symbol of Left-wing resistance.”

Or whatever unnamed underlings Zimmer had working for him at that point.

Hendsbee would oppose it in his district but literally DNGAF if it happens in anyone else’s. Sum total of his political philosophy.

NEW: Federal judge dismisses Drake's defamation case against Kendrick Lamar storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
The issue in this case is whether "Not Like Us" can reasonably be understood to convey as a factual matter that Drake is a pedophile or that he has engaged in sexual relations with minors. In light of the overall context in which the statements in the Recording were made, the Court holds that it cannot.

How does Andy Fillmore manage to be on the wrong side of almost every issue?
A list of how Halifax Regional councillors voted on the issue of a bylaw to prevent infilling water lots in Dartmouth Cove. Mayor Andy Fillmore, John Young, and David Hendsbee are the only votes against, useless cowards that they are.

But at least this massive plagiarism machine also consumes absurd amounts of energy and water to produce wrong answers!

Columbia cancelled my class on race and media, and Washington Post fired me for speaking about race..

But I’m teaching (again) and speaking anyway.

Behind the scenes of rehearsal for the Fall cohort of Race, Media and International Affairs.

600+ students this fall.

if your business model is only viable if you can steal from other people then you don’t have a legitimate business.

Probably true, but part of the reason we need to be pursuing diversification more than integration
dartmouthderek.bsky.social
Unless you actually want to be the 51st state. Or some type of glorified resource colony.

Pursuing greater defence integration with a country that is actively threatening your sovereignty is absolutely absurd.

One of Harper’s policy advisors praising Carney’s bait and switch move on US relations tells you all you need to know: there isn’t a meaningful difference between the Libs and Cons on these issues.

Both will pound the patriotic drum and then sell us out to the Yanks at the first opportunity.

Contrary to stated policy, the old relationship with the US is still very much alive: Carney continues a full court press on deeper economic integration with the US on steel, aluminium and energy sectors while dropping hints that Canada will be participating in US missile defence. (All good things)

“The old relationship we had with the United States based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperation is over.”

Did the Chamber of Commerce crowd applaud his speech?

Traditionally they have tricorne hats as well.
