I could definitely see how it could be worse if it's putting weird pressure on the seal the n95 makes, which is very important (and why I sadly have to shave my face regularly now 😔)

I don't have any data on it being worse, maybe Kim does, so do what works for you. But, I think it's a bad thing to recommend. It's hard enough convincing people to wear a respirator without telling them to put a mask over it. I'd look at occupational health rather than cdc

People saw the news about the CDC and were like, "OMG public health has been destroyed!" Have you been sleepwalking for the last four years? The US does not have a functioning public health system, because it was sacrificed for capital. We're a hotbed of COVID, measles, and a host of other diseases.

I think it's fine, they get lifted and dumped by a machine and usually don't have pleasant smells already. If I was a worker there I wouldn't care unless there's like poop on the handle

Clashes occured between Pakistan and Afghanistan forces at disputed border. 15+ Pak soldiers reported dead. Taliban accuse Pak of supporting ISIS in Afghanistan. The incident occurred after an official Taliban delegation visited Delhi.

This may affect US outreach to Pak for access to Bagram base.

Instead of training teachers on what to do if ICE shows up, why doesn't the American Federation of Teachers call a mass strike and shut the entire fucking country down to stop this from happening? If teachers refuse to work, there's no childcare, and the system grinds to a screeching halt.
