The people who join ICE are the same people who become cops generally: pathetic losers who get no respect in their own lives because they’re not deserving of it, who believe they can artificially command respect with a gun and a badge. The abuses that follow aren’t aberrations; they’re the appeal.

I need liberals to stop pretending that Trump is an aberration and isn't part of a continuity of US empire that stretches back centuries. 99% of this is consistent with what's been happening in this country for decades. If you didn't notice, it's because you didn't want to see it.

ICE didn’t just start killing people. The number of deaths from last year, 32, matched the previous record from 2004. The only difference now is that this is happening in white communities to US citizens. That’s why the brunch liberals are freaking out.
