This is the first time I have woken up feeling happy about election results. I don't think I'm used to it anymore.

I'm glad the public transportation referendum passed. Yes, I think the funding should come from increased corporate taxes of our own, but I don't mind 1% to get it done.

In my personal opinion, and I’m sure this will sound draconic or barberous. But in my personal opinion, elected public officials, from the mayor up to the president and everyone in between should have a healthy amount of respect, and fear of their constituency.
