Well here's a conundrum--the Gouf Custom's shoulder pads are a tiiny bit too small to fit over the Portanova's, which means I have to either not use shoulder pads (boo) or use the Gelgoog's (BOO)

I might be able to widen them using that styrene plate but that's so much work. Also probably worth it

I lied today was gonna be paint day instead, but I decided to take it super duper easy and just clean all the parts and glue the ones that needed to be glued. Final cleanup and prime tomorrow! Basecoats if I'm feeling up to it but my husband and I have a date planned

Like from my army scheme entirely. Technically "striking scorpions" are supposed to be green but it's cooler I find to paint them brown and fluorescent blue, like an actual scorpion.

NOW. Fluorescent blue *also* isn't in the five-color block but it's in the same column, and I can highlight with it

I didn't have a pink monoeye for a Portanova BUT I had an undyed one from the Space Type, so I just painted the back of it a 2:1 ratio of silver and fluorescent pink, which should have basically the same effect.

I think I'm gonna paint it in the Gavane Gooney colors? I'm debating dropping the green

You might have to do a little bit of bashing, but nothing you can't do with the usual snips, pin vice, and glue; the closer you get to a 2020 release date the more compatible the kit'll usually be with 30MM
(Also do you have a PO box? I get cheap international shipping and like I said, have so many)

There really are! And since Bandai standardized 5mm ball joints and 3mm pegs and runners decades ago the HG line is basically compatible too--I have a half dozen of these drum-magazine machine guns if you feel like fielding a whole army
