T minus 11. An #ApocalypseWorldBurnedOver thread. In case you were wondering what we're cooking up in #AW3rd edition.
Dog Soldiers! Heck yes!

I'm biased. I played these games during the playtest and I had an amazing time. Ema Acosta tinkered until only the smoothest running role-playing machine remained, a blend of osr freedom and storygame richness. A real vision.

So, my advice? Pre-order them right now: www.myth.works/pages/cresce...
If no one else has called it yet, I'd like to dub Taliesin's #criticalrole #campaign4 character "The Fresh Prince of Bolaire".

Been a slow burn, but enjoying things so far.

I've never seen a perfect double page spread before, but

(from the upcoming Slugblaster expansion)
I've heard of Fight With Spirit. Was really hoping to get it randomly in an itch bundle at some point because it's _intriguing_.

I wonder if we could slip in some World Wide Wrestling in there, for the dramas?
Seems like a near-perfect fit for #slugblaster's FitD-adjacent system. It's already got racing and chasing locked in mechanically with fun, customizable tech.
Strange. I had to cancel my Skip because of incidents just like that with a refusal to offer comp.

I was hangry, and it's not even owned by Canadians anymore so I took the most extreme option possible.
You know... after some thought the best example for a D&D Warlock from movie or TV is Galvatron from Transformers 1984.

Made a deal with a cosmic entity. Regretted it. Fought to regain his own agency afterwards.

Any other good examples out there?
Let me guess... Skip the Dishəs?
If you can swing it, I'd love to see Dinosaur Polo Club.

A bit out of the way, though.
My second #slugblaster supplement is now on DriveThruRPG.

Hacker's Guide to the Multiverse contains new signature items, new monsters to chomp your face, new factions to help or hinder your crew, and new dimensions to film some sick stunts in.

Get it here: www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...

The Hacker's Guide to the Multiverse is the ultimate supplement to Mikey Hamm's award winning Slugblaster; a game about bored, hoverboarding teenagers who sneak into other dimensions, get into trouble...

Probably in the same party as Mark Mercer...
Cosplay in the snow. Uphill. Both ways!
@jamesjhaeck.bsky.social Just watching the VOD of the EL today and thought I'd mention that My First Dungeon did a Wildsea AP: open.spotify.com/episode/44HM...

Haven't listened to it yet, but I loved their Slugblaster run.

Or if those don't appeal to you, I just released the Shredder's Codex of Competitions which is all about racing and competing in the highly competitive, punk-rock world of interdimensional action sports #slugblaster. Zine-length slimy fun for the whole family.

You know, I'm really looking forward to someone hopefully making a game for Blue Prince that's similar to how The Looker is for The Witness.

There's ripe ground for some fun parody.
Different ttrpgs and what they taught you about ttrpg game design, perhaps?
My preliminary conclusion is that tag teams are an opportunity for lower damage characters to either team up to be more effective together, or for a lower damage character to tag along with a high damage character to help them reliably get over a threshold. A let down for max damage, but consistent.
Heck yeah!
Blades '68: Player Principles handout.
Or CARRY-ON And On And On...
One might say that _all_ of my games are stealth games...

To honor Ozzy's larger-than-life rock and roll legacy, we're making Brütal Legend *FREE* on itch.io: doublefine.itch.io/brutal-legend

But this incredible deal will only last for 666 minutes, as the prophecy foretold. So get yourself clicking, before it disappears like a demon in the night...
