The Office of Management and Budget sent a notification to Congress about their intent to use research and development funds to pay members of the military, two sources with direct knowledge tell NBC News.

A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

They believe they are rich enough that it is cheaper for them to privately do what government does than to pay taxes. I think most of them are wrong but we will suffer first and they'll get lower taxes at least for a while.

Post-Trump government reform is obviously going to have to include moving a bunch of agencies out of the executive, but I think it probably also needs to include the creation of a watchdog org under congress that explicitly *always* has standing for constitutional violations by the executive.

1) The admin has been planning mass firings to begin in October since February
2) The work necessary to carry out mass firings is illegal during a shutdown, violating the Antideficiency Act, which carries a criminal penalty
3) This harms America, ridding us of talent and expertise

Eh, I've done what I'll do. It's mostly cherry tomatoes at this point. If i get another week or so out of them cool, but it's ok if it doesn't work. And then I'll know for the future.

It was easy to put the tarp up, i may get a sheet of painters plastic and make it a greenhouse next spring.

My only big question is if the tarp is too high to trap the heat. The supports are 8-9ft off the ground. But probably g'nuff.
