Because 999/1000 a simple 2nd look confirms that the person being challenged is, indeed, a woman. Humans in general, & women in particular, are very, very good at rapidly sexing strangers. It is an evolved safety mechanism. It's very accurate. You may hate that but it's true.
drchrispook.bsky.social
What articles? And if men like you hadn't made women hyper-sensitive to androgyny then gender-nonconforming women wouldn't be being challenged as often as they now do. But the punchline remains that women are highly tolerant of being challenged in womens' spaces. They positively encourage it.
drchrispook.bsky.social
Single sex spaces are no more "anti-trans" than accessibility measures are "anti-able". They benefit the bearers of the protected characteristic against evident harm. Trans-identified women are still entitled to use womens' single sex spaces. Trans identified men aren't.

Was this a response to a different thread? Your answers don't seem to be addressing the issues I've raised.
drchrispook.bsky.social
I respect your right to your beliefs. That doesn't affect observable reality. It also doesn't mean that I should ignore your advocacy for your metaphysical beliefs where they threaten the rights of others to safety and privacy.
drchrispook.bsky.social
I'm sorry men hurt you. That doesn't justify you hurting women and girls by attacking their rights to single sex spaces. Biology shows that humans are sexually dimorphic. Sex is binary and in mammals, such as humans, immutable.
drchrispook.bsky.social
It's okay to be a "feminine" man too. Thinking femininity is synonymous with being female is sexist.
drchrispook.bsky.social
It's okay to be gay, dude. It's not okay to pretend to be something you're not.
drchrispook.bsky.social
I don't think the poll represents the sincere opinions of lesbians. I think it represents how threatened they feel by you and how unsafe it is for them to voice that.
drchrispook.bsky.social
You don't seem to understand how humans work.
I'm not Jewish but I care about antisemitism.
I'm not old but I care about ageism.
I'm not gay but I care about homophobia.
I'm not a woman but I care about misogyny.
I'm not a child but I care about child abuse.
drchrispook.bsky.social
I'm not sure if you realise the profound irony of your statement. I mean, besides the obvious point that your citation likely does not actually represent lesbians, given you "identify" as such.
drchrispook.bsky.social
Looking at your feed I think that includes you too.
drchrispook.bsky.social
And anyone advocating for such men. Such as the OP.
drchrispook.bsky.social
I'm also allowed to publicly share my criticisms of straight men who "identify" as lesbians. That is vile homophobia.
drchrispook.bsky.social
I have a right to speak out in defence of lesbians' sex-based rights. Did you not know that?
drchrispook.bsky.social
I'm not sure what the point of posting that paper is, beyond "some people support transactivists' claims".
I think you're confused about the nature of your public advocacy for homophobia. I have a right to speak out in defence of lesbians' sex-based rights, which you are attacking.
drchrispook.bsky.social
The genetic fallacy is when you claim that someone's arguments should be judged on the value of who made them, not on their integrity. If this is you and you "identify" as a lesbian then that makes you homophobic, among other things. That's a statement, not an argument.
drchrispook.bsky.social
How have I used the genetic fallacy?
drchrispook.bsky.social
Yes, you're correct. My mistake. The word you used was "intriguing".
drchrispook.bsky.social
The genetic fallacy is when you claim that someone's arguments should be judged on the value of who made them, not on their integrity. You posted that straight, "non-green" people were pointing out the homophobia in the Green's tweet. You have used the genetic fallacy. Your arguments has no merit.
