It's here! "Polar metabolomics using trichloroacetic acid extraction and porous graphitic carbon stationary phase". The 2nd paper from Frankie Day's PhD & 1 of only 3 in the literature applying porous graphitic carbon stationary phase for #Metabolomics.

Joanna Howe has blown the lid off the horror of late term abortions in Australia. She has revealed that hundreds of viable babies are poisoned and left to die in cold, empty hospital rooms in the third trimester. It's an outrage.

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail

I checked the QE manual and it claims that a calibration m/z of 74 in ESI+ and 265 in ESI- makes it good enough for a range of m/z 50-2,000. I'm glad someone took the time to show that that's not right.

Okay, I accept that.

LOL okay, dude.

I don't think you're getting it. What does "interacted with" mean? Lots of scientists get approached by philanthropists and take their money. Yes, they should always check the background. It doesn't make them culpable for philanthropist's crimes if they don't. Scientists are famously introverted.

Actual sports scientists think this paper is garbage, bordering on overtime fraud because it is so poor.

Boys actually have a physical advantage over girls from a very young age. This is partly because male infants undergo a "mini-puberty" before they're even a year old where testosterone rises.

An article in the New York Review of Books takes an extreme stand on biological sex, failing to define it and ultimately arguing that you're whatever sex you say you are.

Implying that anyone named is morally culpable is stupid, not to mention bordering on actionable. Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer.

We know that Epstein was a prolific philanthropist and liked to befriend scientists. Scientists being named on the Epstein files does not equate to them being paedophiles. I know of at least one eminent scientist who is named but had only passing contact with Epstein & nothing to do with his crimes.
At least 30 scientists, including famous paleontologist Jack Horner and theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, have been named in the Epstein files so far. Once again proving that shitty men think with the wrong head no matter how smart they are.

What an odd response. Do you genuinely believe it's controversial to expect medical professionals to act rationally on the basis of evidence?
February 7, 2026 at 10:00 PM
Yep. This. It's such a disaster for everyone involved. And yet none of it is necessary!
February 7, 2026 at 9:58 PM
No, they're doing it to establish the integrity of the rationale medical professionals are expressing for carrying out medical interventions upon children with significant potential for serious, negative, lifelong outcomes.
