I read the piece. You shouldn't. He dismisses the "No Kings" protests as liberals in blue cities. He invokes Rosa Parks, as if rural white people in the 60s loved everything that the movement then was doing. "We need a movement but not this one" is a core centrist tact these days.

This only means that the Pentagon is making their stonewalling an announced policy instead of an unacknowledged practice. News organizations will have to work harder & go with anonymous sources, etc. It's just as likely to make Hegseth & co get chewed up worse than to improve their control.

I'm not a lawyer, but it seems like there's a criminal conspiracy cooking in there and unless pardons reach to THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE WORLD,or nearly so,there would likely to be unpardoned conspirators who could be investigated.

When I worked at Union's library, they had full runs of many German publications, including Deutsche Christen church magazines from the 1930s. Almost indistinguishable from their contemporary equivalents in the USA. Also not different from many conservative churches now.
