The old canard - because "science" is rarely ever 100% certain it is not be trusted - as with smoking, lead in petrol, climate change etc etc.
First Farage platformed notorious UK anti-vaxxer, Aseem Malhotra, who insinuated that Covid vaccines caused the Royal Family’s recent cancers.

Now he’s openly trashing scientific method & evidence, pretending neither can be trusted & facts are a free for all.

This is deeply dangerous populism.
Farage asked on @lbc.co.uk whether he agreed with on the unproven link between paracetamol and autism

“I have no idea... We were told thalidomide was a v safe drug and it isn’t. who knows. I don’t know, you don’t know…when it comes to science I don’t side with anybody. It’s never settled.”

Thinking of all those mothers in Ukraine, Gaza & everywhere else whose sons & daughters have been lost to the savagery of war 😔
NATO was never a threat to Russia - how stupid can people be to believe that. But a free, successful Ukraine would be a deadly threat to the gangsters in the Kremlin. If freedom works in Ukraine why not in Russia? That is why Putin invaded.
I have been making regular medical visits to Ukraine since 1992. I always knew it was an important country struggling to escape its terrible tragic past. But I never dreamed the past would return from the East with yet more horror and suffering.
Rachel Clarke and I started Hospice Ukraine in 2023 to help our palliative care colleagues in Ukraine. Through the tremendous generosity of our supporters we were able to buy an ambulance for Sambir Hospice.
We cannot avert whatever the future holds for Ukraine given the wickedness that has taken over the US government. But we must all do what we can to support that tragic country. Please help us at hospiceukraine.com
