Think I have to get this from my local cafe, Maybe Latelys, this morning:

Special: Perfect Local Bowl
All local ingredients! Meadowlark grits topped with toast heirloom pumpkin, fresh lemony kale, guajillo braised beef shanks, and a poached egg. Finished with cilantro and scallion ginger sauce.

Good idea in theory, but they both wanted to play with Sid like 24/7 and it was a bit too much for him as he had been dealing with back problems.

So I ended up gifting Duncan to someone who was on the waitlist with the same breeder for a dog for their retired mother. And now Max is my old guy.

Note on Duncan in case folks wonder: Duncan is Max's actual brother and the dog I originally picked out. They were the only two pups from a litter and I made a deal to get both thinking it would allow them to play together and let Sid, my older doxie get some breaks.

I continue to just wonder "how the fuck did we get this far gone". I know that Trump hates Obama having a Nobel Peace Prize.

Stop to imagine if Obama didn't win and members of Congress raised a stink and tried to award it to them anyway. Dems would have lost the next decade of elections.

Wisconsin definitely has it's nice areas, here in the SW and up in the Northwoods areas.

Hence why I said they seem incapable. One big difference between Dems and Republicans is that one some of their most important points, Republicans have all fallen in line despite the occasional "concerns" of folks like Collins and such.

I've been to two No Kings protests. Still waiting on my check.

Also, the last huge one, opposite Trump's sad military parade, had over 5 million people nationwide with little incidents.

Never mind also clearly favoring Russia's invasion of Ukraine, killing foreign nationals in boats with no due process, and unleashing the military on your own citizens.

Also, you don't campaign for Nobel's. The sycophancy of the Republican's in congress is so gross.

If they were to award him the prize, it would destroy any meaning to it. You don't win a Nobel by fully supporting one side with weapons, talking about what nice real-estate you could take over, then have a deal struck after saying you will "unleash hell" on them if they don't agree.

Hope it goes well. Only so-so for me today, though I only fished from like 11 to 3. Not much hopper luck. Risers were starting when I had to get back for the dogs. Mix of caddis, little yellow midges, and the occasional olive. I probably should have switched out to smaller droppers.
