However I suspect many clinics will be cancelled due to staff sickness and the draconian laying off of staff and failure to correctly recruit doctors. The NHS is a colossal mess at the moment.

COVID: Concerned about the pressure on our NHS, as we enter the darker, colder months, and want to protect services, staff and patients!
Then, it's time to be more focused on the spread of this disease, especially in healthcare settings, as well as the labour, social and economic impacts. #LongCOVID

People are so unaware of the dangers COVID is still posing. This winter is going to be terrible with frontline NHS workers taken off the UK vaccine schedule. I would advise all those visiting hospitals to keep your mask on.

It does seem both extraordinary & ridiculous to spend all that money developing a revolutionary, safe & effective vaccine that can be rapidly updated for an emergent, rapidly mutating, destructive & deadly virus, & then decide only the very oldest & those with suppressed immunity can access it free.

If Canada believes that 'vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect against severe outcomes from COVID-19', and the best global scientific and medical evidence agrees, then why don't we invest in all our citizens and provide universal options - for ALL?
