We need UKHSA to start doing their job

If they provide data on hospital acquired #covid infections then the need for effective airborne infection prevention measures will be clear for ALL to see

Whooping Cough
Tuberculosis

'Coughs and sneezes spread diseases' coined in the U.S. during the 1918 flu pandemic (revived by UK and New Zealand health ministries in the 1940s to promote hygiene and curb respiratory illness), remains a good reminder of how airborne pathogens spread.

However I suspect many clinics will be cancelled due to staff sickness and the draconian laying off of staff and failure to correctly recruit doctors. The NHS is a colossal mess at the moment.

People are so unaware of the dangers COVID is still posing. This winter is going to be terrible with frontline NHS workers taken off the UK vaccine schedule. I would advise all those visiting hospitals to keep your mask on.

It does seem both extraordinary & ridiculous to spend all that money developing a revolutionary, safe & effective vaccine that can be rapidly updated for an emergent, rapidly mutating, destructive & deadly virus, & then decide only the very oldest & those with suppressed immunity can access it free.
