Today marks my 20th anniversary in the animation industry. To celebrate, I put together a little video of every reference I've either made, or was a part of, throughout all the shows I've worked on. The last 20 years has been an amazing blur! #animation

Just got out Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie and it was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen! So good, and so unexpected!

I definitely want to see a breakdown of what was guerrilla filmmaking and what was filmed more traditionally, it got pretty hard to tell sometimes.

OH SHIT!! BOON!!! This is maybe my favourite actual play episode of ANYTHING!!! This is worth the season pass entirely on its own!!

Having a blast watching “We’re All Gonna Die!” Loving seeing Dread being played in front of a live audience, so much tension. (Also neat to have the audience do the final block pulls of the game!)

Jack Quaid is GOING FOR IT in episode 2!

“If you squint your ears, it kinda sounds like Blink 182.”

The official cast photo for Spaceballs 2 has been released by @realjoshgad.bsky.social.

Perfect. 🍕

If anyone needs reminding, this pic spoofs another famous image from years ago:

Here’s the portrait Jesus had Leonardo da Vinci release to commemorate the start of production on “Christianity.”

Just a reminder before the “big announcement” today.

Autism was discovered in 1911 and the modern definition of Autism came in 1943.

Tylenol wasn’t widely used until the 1950s.

Anyone trying to tell you that Tylenol causes Autism isn’t someone that should be taken seriously.

Just got out of The Long Walk. It’s a brutal and tough journey that’s full of some joy and camaraderie.

Made me ugly cry a handful of times, but completely earned it all. Also pulled no punches. It’s from the director of The Hunger Games, but nowhere near YA in its imagery.

Fucking LOVED it!!

WGA Statement on ABC’s Decision to Pull Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The right to speak our minds and to disagree with each other - to disturb, even - is at the very heart of what it means to be a free people. It is not to be denied. Not by violence, not by the abuse of governmental power, nor by acts of corporate cowardice.
As a Guild, we stand united in opposition to anyone who uses their power and influence to silence the voices of writers, or anyone who speaks in dissent. If free speech applied only to ideas we like, we needn't have bothered to write it into the Constitution. What we have signed on to - painful as it may be at times - is the freeing agreement to disagree.
Shame on those in government who forget this founding truth. As for our employers, our words have made you rich.
Silencing us impoverishes the whole world.
The WA stands with Jimmy Kimmel and his writers.

Freelance illustration gigs drying up. Ad agencies using Midjourney instead of hiring human artists. Costume design turned over to AI wholesale. Good work vanishing.

These are the stories of working visual artists, who describe losing jobs, wages, and hope as their clients and bosses embrace AI.
Artists are losing work, wages, and hope as bosses and clients embrace AI
Visual artists, illustrators and graphic designers share their stories about how AI is being used to lower wages, degrade work and even replace it altogether, in this installment of AI Killed My Job.

I feel like there’s a good horror-type episode based around it reconstituting itself, ghost in the machine style.

Yah, the last third of the episode definitely felt that way.

The short seasons probably make it tough, but they needed at least one more episode to establish the Vezda and Batel’s connection, to make everything meaningful enough for this level of showdown.
