Does anyone know what became of this boy?

I've been trying to find out, but there's no reporting on it that I can find. There's video of him being taken away in that black SUV.

A kid goes out for gummy bears and gets taken by ICE. Sickening beyond words.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II really is a man for all seasons.

We talked about Wonder Man, his superhero Hollywood satire for #Marvel, and Man on Fire, his upcoming Netflix action series.

But also … when should you toss your whole life away and start over? 🤔

He did it once.
Might do it again…
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II Is Betting on Himself
Before he became an actor, the 'Man on Fire' and 'Wonder Man' star was an architect who threw it all away and started over. Now he's leading Marvel’s most unusual show yet.

Here he shares stories of #StarTrek: Starfleet Academy, Private Parts, Sideways, and playing Rhino in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 — among other characters he knows are total pains in the ass.

Remember…

It’s okay to like or love a movie, show, book, or song that someone else doesn’t.

You’re not wrong. They’re not right. Vice versa.

Enjoy what you enjoy and let that be that.

Here’s to being happy in 2026.

Isiah Whitlock Jr. was such a delight. I remember meeting him at Sundance when he did “Cedar Rapids” in 2011 and finding him so funny.

Very sorry to hear of his passing…
An absolutely wonderful, versatile, powerful and powerfully funny actor who enlivened everything he was in, and a huge loss. I'm not going to say the word, but we're all thinking it in his honor. RIP Isiah Whitlock. deadline.com/2025/12/isia...
