You are a vile person who chooses to shield nazis over their victims.

Your site will die and become irrelevant within a year. You had an opportunity, and you squandered it, sidling up to the worst of the worst.

You should not apologize to someone who knowingly allows nazis and bigots to stick around

I've made the move for at least a couple weeks at this point but I no longer plan to be active on here from now on. @jay.bsky.team has proven time and time again that she cares more about Bluesky's "investor value" than actual community

1. The Trump admin has demanded New York City to ban trans kids from bathrooms.

Mayor Adams has come out in support of Trump's proposal.

NY Law protects trans youth, and Adams has no power to implement it.

Meanwhile, Mamdani has slammed Adam's comments.

Not to be a bitch, im glad more ppl are seeing the writing on the wall, but it sucks that for YEARS now ppl have been piling on artists for fiction, being told this is exactly where that shit would lead, and responding by doubling down on bullying/ isolating said artists +anyone supporting them

it is very apparent that this is just a reaction to bad press from far right outlets and not a genuine interest in trust & safety on this website.

you seem to have zero interest in protecting trans and palestinian people on this website yet go batting for a nazi with rule enforcements on jokes that didn't result in moderation just a few months ago when other famous, widely hated political figures died.

Clean up your links before you share them with others. It's a small and simple piece of operational security that anyone can integrate into their practice.
HEY YOU! YES YOU! TAKE THIS SHIT OUT OF LINKS!

example.com/article?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=emai

The portion following the question marks are source identifiers.

Source identifiers are used to track your activity on a site. Where you came from, what device you use, and even who you talk to. Whether it's written clearly in the url or tied to a random string of characters, it's assigned to your activity.

When you send a link containing a source identifier to somebody and they click it, it signals to the website that you two are connected. And that data goes right back to the website operators, and thus their advertisers.

Whenever you select "share" or "copy link" on a social app or website, it creates a link like this. If you give even the smallest shit about online privacy, it's important to remove them. Everything after the "?" symbol can be removed without issue, especially sections starting with "si=" or "utm_source="

I am reopening my gofundme for my dog, Bella. I AM NOT A BOT. I am a real person with a real dog who needs actual help.

If you can spare anything, that would be appreciated.

Her teeth have worsened and she's foaming at the mouth now due to an infection. NOT RABIES.

THE BLACK NITE
UPRISING
Eight years before New York's Stonewall Riots, the Black Nite Uprising united a community,
awakened local activism,
and scored an early victory for the emerging LGBTQ rights movement in the United States.
On August 5, 1961, four servicemen went on a homophobic dare to the Black Nite, a well known LGBTQ tavern (400 N. Plankinton Ave.)
After losing a fight with Josie Carter (1941-2014) a black woman of trans experience, the men vowed to return and "clean up" the bar.
"We do not run from a fight," Josie replied.
"We do not run from anything."
Josie's courage was a call to action.
When the servicemen returned later that night, they faced over 70 customers who heroically defended their safe space from invasion,
In 2021, the Wisconsin LGBTQ History
Project obtained official civic commemoration ensure the Uprising
will never be forgotten.

Wild how bsky has still failed to remove actual nazis from their platform, and has instead verified them

Cool. Now how about you protect user safety by removing actual nazis from the platform instead of verifying them?

If you gave one shit about user safety, you'd have banned the actual nazi JD vance, who has posted 3 times, all of which were purely transphobic conspiracy theories.
