I literally cannot afford a new computer just to upgrade to Windows 11. And even if I could I don't want to. I refuse to allow my data to be used for their AI bullshit, on top of all the other problems Win11 has. Seriously, fuck Microsoft.

Today's the last day Windows 10 will be getting important security updates in the US. The UK gets to have it for another year. Because Microsoft, an American company, would rather screw over their American consumers. @ja.clipstudio.net PLEASE make Clip Studio Paint compatible with Linux!

I had my painting hand in a cast for six weeks prior to doing the cover painting for the fourth book in Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series. 1/4

With one back claw pushing off, a bronze dragon launches from a rocky peak. Wings catch air as its long neck stretches sinuously in forward motion. The rider rears back with one hands gripping harness and the other arm thrown high as if she were riding a bucking bronco. She holds a scroll tightly in her free hand. The horizon angles up from the lower left adding to the sense of motion. The foreground facing mountains tint purple out of the exposure of an alien sun that burns yellow low in the sky as framed by a rocky arch upon which another dragon perches with rider. The sky is a long layered wave of magenta, red-orange, and yellow.
