Somebody tell Donald Trump this was all Stephen Miller’s fault.
Beautiful! Thanks.
The Media are creating “important” elections to drive ratings.
Really hope to share an adult beverage with you someday. Thinking Toyko is more likely than Frankfort — with an o. Or then, there is always Littlespalooza. What are you doing in early June? @dyagodich.bsky.social can hook you up.
Heard him talk about it on NPR. Bought the CD the next day.

My earworm is “Wild One” from Cat Stevens.
50 yrs ago ABA compared starting salary at big law firms in a city vs its cost of living:
NYC = 100¢ on $1
Chicago & Houston = 141¢ Indianapolis = 156¢
Portland & San Francisco ~70¢

PS: When I graduated law school, NYC was paying $16K, Chicago $14.4K. (I’m really old.)

An atheist, a Crossfitter, and a vegan walk into a bar.

I know because they told me.
From Today’s Athletic “Until Saturday” newsletter. Color me “not surprised.” Every year 7-9 of America’s Ton 10 Drunkest Cities are in Wisconsin. When Playboy first listed Top 10 Party Schools it did not list Wisconsin. (Footnote: This is a listing of amateurs; Wisconsin is professional.)
I only want to say “Get off of my lawn!” in jest.
“Butt” of any jokes? I’m used to it. But, thank you.
Understood. That’s why I think it’s a funny meme; it’s satirical, not serious.

My son used to give me a CD in my Xmas stocking every year to expand my musical horizons, especially a couple of KBCO Studio C. I really liked Brandi Carlile, Susan Tedeschi, etc. Last concert pre-Covid Milk Carton Kids.
First, it’s a joke.

Second, not really. I bet my family is more multi-racial, multi-ethnic than yours.
No, in 1972 for $47K.
@sfpodge.bsky.social as an aside to your 20 songs by year, check out Marc Cohn’s Listening Booth 1970. He reimagines in his own style a dozen pop hits that he would have heard in the listening both at record store in 1970. (“Why do a Smokey song in his style; I can’t do Smokey better than he does.”)
Real genealogist would be repulsed by my speculation. I, however, prefer to take the facts and imagine what happened; historical fiction. As my father often said, “Never let the facts get in the way of a good story.” It is true that those were the Pinckney and Townsend pews when they were teenagers.
I exist because of people like you. In the mid-1700s my 4th-gt grandfather William Pinckney’s family had the pew center left in front of the pulpit. Freelove Townsend, my 4th-great grandmother, sat in the pew upper right next to the pulpit. Had they not been making eyes during the boring services .
