ANNOUNCEMENT! My next novel, The Heist Of Hollow London, will be published by Tor on 30 September 2025.

One of the world's largest corporations collapses. During the sale of its assets, five clone workers are bought to steal a large sum of money stashed an obscure facility in a near-abandoned city.

Perfect posting from Tim Heidecker, 24 hours apart.
What an incredible experience, getting to perform at the Riyadh Comedy Festival. I left feeling grateful and humbled by his majesty's generosity. I'll never forget this memorial experience and all the fun we had. Hope to do it again soon. upon further reflection, there is a small part of me that feels I sent the wrong message, regarding the Riyahd Comedy Festival last night. While, I do think it's important for comedy to have the opportunity to thrive in all parts of the globe, there are some aspects of The Royal Highness, King Salmon and his leadership in the region that i don't agree with entirely, but it's a different culture when it comes to freedom and rights and I gotta respect that we are all different and have different values. My manager is now investigating the possibility of donating some of my fee to a charity for Vetrans of War.

#THETWEN2IE5 Day 11

"1960" by Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs (2022)

I hadn't heard of this song when this challenge started, but I heard it live tonight and it was one of the best things I've seen on a stage. Like peak Neu!, just incredible.

like seriously team, I know y'all are working on both improving Discover and on better reply sentiment filtering and all, but it's going to take a while to tune it properly and a "never show my post on Discover" setting would be a 10 minute fix that would get 65% of why people want private accounts

I had a post reach the Discover feed today and was once again reminded of how many people on this site are not house trained.

"He even went for a carvery on the third day, before finishing the bag for dessert.

The next day - Monday - the HGV driver was sweating profusely and "did not feel right", but put it down to the pork he ate."

I love him, just the most diabolical himbo energy.

Just checked my pockets and found this. Yes, 1mm is in the heavy category.

I think a 1mm is considered heavy. I think.

Of course they could have donated the money anonymously. But that's not the point, is it.

The equivalent of a mother in a gangster movie. "I DON'T WANT YOUR BLOOD MONEY."

It's still an odd moment for her to nip out, when they're all anxiously watching the fungus progress along the Circle Line. But maybe she spilled tea down her dress or something.

Ah, I get you - so they might have prepped a second costume for Anne after finding they had some spare budget, even though the script didn't call for it and it wasn't necessarily obvious where the change would happen.

I'm not suggesting that Packer demanded the change for character reasons, but she might have said she was finding the costume inconvenient or impractical in some way. Or it got damaged. I just can't see why you'd make that change when there's no pressing reason to do so and it makes no story sense.

Those aren't the scenes between which it changes, though: I chose them because they give a good view of the outfit. At the end of Ep 2 she's in the Goodge Street ops room in the minidress; at the start of Ep 3 she's in the same room, wearing new clothes. It seems like only minutes have passed.

I also opened mine in 2005, and same. I'm always getting mail for an Eddie Robson in New Zealand, his address is with a provider called email.com and people are always mishearing him and writing gmail - but his address has no full stops and mine does. Still comes to me anyway.
