I guess I've been lax at posting over here, but I will try to be better. An intro: I'm Emma, I'm an editor at Harlequin, and in my spare time I'm writing a nonfiction book about romance in horror movies because I love horror. Always happy to answer questions about Harlequin if I can!

Watched A Cure for Wellness since the library had it on Blu-ray. Entirely too long, and Dane DeHaan is absolutely not a sympathetic protagonist in the slightest, but I really like Mia Goth and some of the imagery is appropriately creepy. A decent homage to the Gothic.

If you like noirish, kind of terrible gumshoes who are investigating a creepy medspa that may or may not be run by vampires, you should definitely read Emily Weedon's Hemo Sapiens.

I am not currently in need of the workshop, but I will say that Eric's nonfiction query resources are, I think, what made my nonfic proposal strong enough to get an agent and a book deal. Super helpful and insightful.
