My novel Villager came out in 2022. It was published by Unbound, who had little marketing/sales power. But I was excited & proud, since I worked so f-ing hard on it.

Oof. They did this to me on Greetings From Effin' Birds, except they told me it was a flop. In reality it was sold out, but they couldn't afford the reprint and couldn't afford to lose the rights because they had sublicensed them to Penguin for North America, so they just told me it wasn't selling.
