This is *not* a critique on speedrunning and gaming communities, by the way.

My point is that the hobbies that you have are fine as long as you don’t hurt anybody, including yourself.

But you still have that hobby within capitalism, and you should still care about your wellbeing first.

I have as big a problem with “gooners” as with “gamers”: as much as video games are an art form, they are first a product to be consumed. I take an issue with primarily identifying oneself by consumption, and both communities have issues of loneliness and self-abasement cultivated by capitalism.

But, and I’m going to be controversial: so are video games. Most people wouldn’t *think* of joining communities based around playing some game again, and again, writing whole documentations on obscure and almost-inhumanely demanding manoeuvres, just to compete in who gets to finish them the fastest.

To be fair, while this all may seen extremely alienating and unsafe for one’s mental health, it seems to me that this is all emerging from the porn industry. Porn feels, to me, as alienating and dehumanising, they are just consuming way more and way more… intensely.

Apparemment la proposition de retirer la mention du sexe des cartes d'identité consiste à aller contre la biologie.

Rappel il n'y a pas de mention de sexe sur le permis de conduire, et il n'y en avait pas sur la CNI avant 1987. Date de la découverte de la biologie.

Le fait que le président est un humain comme les autres, que personne n’est infaillible, irréprochable, ni au-dessus de la loi, c’est une réalité que les soutiens de Sarkozy et la droite en général ne veulent pas vraiment reconnaître. Ça remettrait trop leur légitimité en question.
