Crazy how washing my hair in Halifax water one time undoes six months of hard water damage from Toronto water!

Vancouver sports media spending the day crashing out about the Jays is SO funny, no one in Toronto is ever even thinking about you guys

We got Plato as a pre-vetted eight week old kitten in 2009 after two cat distribution system kittens died on me before their first birthday. He has had a long and perfect life. It is both good and terrible to know that this trip is the end of our time together.

I honestly don’t think there’s been a single year since I became a baseball fan that I would trust the Tigers’ bullpen to protect a one run lead.
emilydawn.bsky.social
I think the Tigers are frauds and the Mariners have been getting enough magic that I don’t want any part of it, this game should be no contest for Jays fans imo

They lost this game and I cannot overstate how much I still did not learn one single lesson

I love and welcome bandwagon fans but there is still nothing funnier than a “sprotsball” guy trying to 1. Speak authoritatively about sports or 2. Make a non-sports narrative fit the team’s story / style / season.

Oh yeah that was crazy lol. Like the Jays invented champagne celebrations.

Personally I think it’s beautiful that the Jays have been good since there was still frost on the ground and still, STILL, everyone who gets paid to talk about baseball looked at their lineup for the first time this week and went hmm… Ernie Clement… never heard of him, Yankees in four.
emilydawn.bsky.social
Which I support, to be clear. I love that in baseball you celebrate everything.

The Jays were the best team in the American League and were still left for dead by every fucking loudmouth talking head, blogger and journalist, half of whom are now admitting they didn’t even bother to watch them this season. I hope they’re drunk until Tuesday.

“They’re acting like this is their World Series” is my favourite cope because are they acting like this is their World Series or are they acting like they dismantled a team in a series they were unanimously picked to lose despite beating their asses all year and finishing as the best team in the AL

Thinking about July 2(?), when Davis Schneider was talking about Springer after the game and he said, “He’s our captain, he’s our leader, and he’s still got it.” 🥹
