The US president has always had the power to end the genocide whenever he wants. Trump didn't "negotiate a deal," he finally called off the war, which was within US's power.

The reason he shouldn't be praised is that there is nothing praiseworthy about ending your own genocide.

This game should never have been played. UEFA failed. FIFA failed. Norway failed.

3–0 for Norway. There’d be absolutely no difference if Israel were kicked out of international football, they make no impact anyway. Just do it FIFA.

The only difference is seeing soldiers who’ve committed war crimes — or are complicit in apartheid — playing on a football pitch. Absolutely bizarre.

One talking point I'm seeing a lot of is that Hamas is now fully isolated.

1. Yeah, that's how a concentration camp works. They've been isolated for years.
2. If Hamas were defeated, they would use stronger words than isolated.
