I'm an individual rights Libertarian and I did the same thing because of Joe Walsh. Right now we as a country are facing an eviceration of the rule of law and this is one of the few meaningful mechanisms of opposing it.

"We'd all be at brunch" was a problematic sentiment in 2016 and it's a problematic one now. Cancel brunch and carry whatever energy you brought yesterday forward not only in election years but in your city council meetings and community.

3E may be one of the most monsterously bad proposals I've seen put before voters in Aurora: council members seeking to hold multiple elected offices at once are setting their constituents for poor representation at best.

If Mayor Coffman doesn't want to hear from the public, he needs to find another job besides Mayor. You can very easily enforce time limits on public comments without infringing on anyone's first amendment rights.

3 wks ago she won an election to represent a congressional district in southern Arizona that hasn’t had congressional representation for 7 months. But she hasn’t been sworn in. So the district still has no representation. Why? To protect Trump and keep the Epstein files hidden.

Even Barry Goldwater understood governance requires a good faith attempt to barter with others you don't get along with. And the current majority hardliners saying "take it or leave it" on government funding affirm Goldwater's warnings every day.

Mark my words if and when these preachers get control of the party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible problem. Frankly these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.

Combine this latest declared purge with Hegseth's de-emphasis on laws of war training and we need to see this for what it is: the secretary of war is seeking to create a military that won't question orders that call for firing on US civilians.

During my tenure as Vice Chair, the Libertarian Party of Colorado endorsed Amendment 64 (when the old parties wouldn't) and helped Colorado become the first state to make cannabis legal again.
