Really?

I wonder why being overweight would make people perceive asians as less foreign? Doesn't make sense to me, but a lot of things don't.
Why would you need to make yourself look fatter at work?
Which sets up a great adventure for a new party to tackle.
My brother is a sensitive kind soul. Like, doesn't play gory games and cries if an animal jumps in front of a car level of nice guy.

I'd say a solid half of the times I update him on what Trump is doing he says, 'Can't someone just shoot him?'

And when Kirk was shot all he said was, 'Good.'
This is really concerning. I think you should try to get help.

Gen Z support for gay marriage already proves this to be a lie.
Definitely not true. A substantial minority, if not outright majority, of the people attending protests are 60+
I had prepared a fusion buffet, but my players thought they were getting a structured multi-course meal.

Lesson learned. Avoid choice paralysis and be clear about what kind of game you are playing.
To my players though it seemed like events from the first adventure were harrying off in different directions and they weren't sure what to do anymore. What had been meaningful clues before became less cool because they weren't part of 'the story'.
And it was time for the campaign to move on. Using materials from different adventure paths and modules I had laid out about half a dozen different way they could obviously go, and even more just 'Oh that seems neat'. I thought this was presenting my players a variety of choices (laudatory)
but most of my players were coming in with the assumption of an narrative or plot they were supposed to find and follow.

One example that really stuck with me is we had just finished the 'Burnt Offerings' pathfinder adventure, which I think is a great starting adventure.
*Nods*

One of the things I had to learn as a DM is to be careful and clear about options presented because well-socialized cooperative players will by default take 'You can do X thing.' as 'We are supposed to do X thing.'

This was especially important because my early campaigns were sandboxes
Miscommunication also isn't being a jerk or a bad DM, it's just miscommunication. Even professionals have to issue corrections or errata because something that was clear to them wasn't clear to everyone.
When a character murders someone in broad daylight for the lulz, then the party kills guards to back them up.

The entire party dying in the fight or being executed is being a good DM. You were stupid and evil, and you lost. Also, this game probably isn't for you.
Disagree. First, being a jerk and being bad at dming are not the same thing at all. Conflating them is wrong.

Second, the players should not be protected from their own bad choices, if those choices are informed.
What part of the state are you in? I was up in north Dallas, Carrollton. The Makerspace there was a haven for me as an outsider. Also the first place I got to knowingly know any trans people.

Might be good place for you too if you're close enough.
I have never wanted mass prosecutions and incarceration so badly.

In 2028 just arrest the entire agency. Everyone in ICE. Arrest them for being part of organized crime and then go through every single one of their lives for ANY crime and give them the maximum sentence.

this is, by the way, literal fairy tale villain shit. like not even *space* fairy tale, not even manly western, this is just raw fairy tale shit. everyone in the entire world including conservatives learned this was wrong when they were babies
“They have fun while doing it, which is deeply disturbing. We expect some level of decorum from government officials,” says Phoebe, a member of Harbor Area Peace Patrols.

Congratulations on not being abusive anymore...?!

Also a dogmeat disagreement being a listed reason for a breakup seems weird, but maybe I haven't experienced enough breakups.

the thing i sincerely respect about kat, who, again, i disagree with on some very crucial issues, is that she is setting an example for both putting yourself on the line by resisting and also being joyful rather than fearful while doing it
I'm going to go out on a limb and say regardless of the spurious accusations, supporting trans healthcare and rights generally actually matters a lot more than whether you use AI.

Dude needs to understand priorities.
