What part of the state are you in? I was up in north Dallas, Carrollton. The Makerspace there was a haven for me as an outsider. Also the first place I got to knowingly know any trans people.

Might be good place for you too if you're close enough.
I have never wanted mass prosecutions and incarceration so badly.

In 2028 just arrest the entire agency. Everyone in ICE. Arrest them for being part of organized crime and then go through every single one of their lives for ANY crime and give them the maximum sentence.

this is, by the way, literal fairy tale villain shit. like not even *space* fairy tale, not even manly western, this is just raw fairy tale shit. everyone in the entire world including conservatives learned this was wrong when they were babies
“They have fun while doing it, which is deeply disturbing. We expect some level of decorum from government officials,” says Phoebe, a member of Harbor Area Peace Patrols.

19th century problems require 19th century solutions!
Congratulations on not being abusive anymore...?!

Also a dogmeat disagreement being a listed reason for a breakup seems weird, but maybe I haven't experienced enough breakups.

the thing i sincerely respect about kat, who, again, i disagree with on some very crucial issues, is that she is setting an example for both putting yourself on the line by resisting and also being joyful rather than fearful while doing it
I'm going to go out on a limb and say regardless of the spurious accusations, supporting trans healthcare and rights generally actually matters a lot more than whether you use AI.

Dude needs to understand priorities.
Paint brand used for priming and drybrushing was actually just Michael's CraftSmart multi-surface craft paint. It makes a surprisingly good primer through an airbrush. Not rattle-can tough, but easy to blend up to different gradients.
Don't have pictures to show for either, but I did basically same thing with an Atlas and Gravelord Gray, then drybrushed the edges with a brighter grey to lighten it up a bit.
No idea on the brushes, I just use the cheap ones from Michaels and the ones that came with the paint sets I bought, but I got what I thought were decent results by doing a grey to white zenithal prime, bright white drybrush on the edges, and then army painter speedpaint. Color was cloudburst blue.
I'm sorry. It didn't seem to *as* terrible a place when I was there, at least in the community I hung out in. Everything I see and hear is that it's gotten a lot worse.
As in for brands? Paint schemes? Techniques?

Thanks. Now I've got a new artist to follow.
Who among has not turned their campaign setting into a post-apocalyptic hellscape dominated by mobile fortresses armed with disintegrate cannons powered by adamantine spheres that cast Wish at-will?

2028 is not going to be a good time, i fear
1. A watershed moment.

The President of the Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action, Kevin Roberts , has announced that the organization is standing by Tucker Carlson in the aftermath of Tucker’s interview with neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes.

This isn’t Kevin bending his knee to Trump…this is something new
Oh shit.
chat is it good when defense intellectuals are citing Adrian and putting arguments you'd hear before the Spanish Civil War

“we will rule you forever with an iron fist of suffering” is maybe not the most compelling message any administration has ever had
JD Vance: "The suffering is going to get a lot worse."
This is what non-interventionism looks like. The slaughter of innocents.
Jesus Christ. There is a video of RSF fighters hanging black toddlers who can't even walk, from a tree... and they filmed themselves doing this and are posting it.
The present is where things like Sauron finally get dealt with, and people like Galadriel finally get to move on from the kinslaying.
I have some disagreements with that, because the past is full of things like Morgoth, Fëanor, and the sinking of Beleriand. It's at least presented as antediluvian if not outright apocalyptic. The past is more epic than the present certainly, but I don't think Tolkien presents it as better.
