This film is a great starting point, you can either watch the previous two films in 1982 or 2010, you won't have to wait so long like we did! Also, the cartoon and Wii game is great

Well I'm glad I ignored the reviews for TRON: ARES. Bloody good entertainment especially in IMAX and 3D. Loudest film I've seen in ages as well.

The hilarity of this of course being that the shooter genre soon after became dominated by call of duty, a shooter full of nondescript guys with no mascot to put on the front.

Timesplitters is one of the greatest, but short lived, shooter franchises of all time, and I'm so mad we didn't get more because of things like this:

"the marketing person in the room would say 'I don't know how to sell this' because they want a character that they can put on the front of the box."
