This was my hometown. Adams Mine site was out my back door. People were angry. My grandparents spent their retirement standing on these very train tracks.

This protest taught me the importance of fighting for your home. We are all Unlikely Radicals.

25 years ago today I stood on a blockade on the Adams Mine road. In defiance of potential mass arrests we held Thanksgiving dinner for 1,000 people.
I made the decision that weekend that I would dedicate my life to resistance and defending people.

I live in Canada. Christmas trees grow everywhere. I still don't want a real one. They are a pain in the ass to get into the house. An even bigger pain to get out of the house. They drop needles everywhere. They have bugs. And, they are a fire hazard.

Artificial, pre-lit, all the way, every day.
