I don't qualify for SNAP because they think I make too much money (even though I typically can't cover my monthly expenses).

Because of this, the food bank at my local LGBT+ center has been a bloodline. It's run by Operation Healthy Hearts.

Starving can cause chronic illness and disabilities.

Malnutrition is not to be trifled with.

Cutting off SNAP funding will cause people to suffer. Some will get ill. Some may die.

There’s no excuse for this. 40 million people rely on that program.

It’s a cull.

that’s incredibly fair! especially with that opening, even for someone like myself who isn’t as moves by that stuff i understand how that and other things in the episode can be difficult to listen to. i’d say wait for monday when the transcript comes out so you can skip around it if need be🫂
