Today, I learned about Dr. Anne Innis Dagg, a Canadian woman who traveled to Africa in the 1950s to study giraffes and is credited as the first person to study them in the wild. I wish I had known about her sooner, but I can watch the movie about her life, which I have requested from the library. 🦒

I've been completely sucked into World of Warcraft Legion Remix for the last 2 days. It's fun to revisit this expansion in this fast-paced version, but damn is it addictive!

I'm finishing Papyrus by Irene Vallenjo. After that, I will probably read The Book At War by Andrew Pettegree.

Tonight's family movie night choice was Tremors 7: Shrieker Island. We have enjoyed every Tremors movie and this one was no different, though something tells me this was likely the last one in the series - but you never know.

And let's finish the day by reviewing They Fear Not Men in the Woods, by Gretchen McNeil (pub by @dawbooks.bsky.social), a proposal that makes the most from its setting, delivering a great experience if you like atmospherical proposals.

Very exciting book mail arrived today. My copy of Falling In A Sea of Stars by Kristen Britain is here, and it's gorgeous! I have been reading this series since the first book came out more than 25 years ago. I have had this pre-ordered for MONTHS, and I'm so excited to finally have it. #booksky 📚💙
