Faithfulness to a book is not an index of quality in a film adaptation.
A movie is a different beast.
Degrees of fidelity to source material are just that: degrees of fidelity. It doesn't link to how good (or bad) the cinema experience is.

I think I’m the luckiest debut author in the world to get such a gorgeous cover. @eleonorpiteira.bsky.social brought “The Bloodweaver’s“ main character, Kerick, to life in such stunning, intimate detail that I’m still pinching myself over it.
