I propose November 1st as resurgence day. Halloween ends, and we all pick up the phones again. MasterCard and Visa, bare minimum, once per day. Every day. All of us. They are only hiring the usual number of holiday workers, this would frighten credit card companies. “It’s not going away”

A source familiar w/ internal workings at MasterCard notes the company does not plan to recruit additional call center workers for the Christmas season, as MasterCard does not expect higher call volume than usual. A resurgence of calls re censorship during the busy season would be huge strategically

Amazon, and by extension most of Twitch Management now, fundamentally do not understand what made the platform amazing, they are ignoring the majority of their viewers in favor of short term profits and attention, but their long terms have taken a MASSIVE hit and continue to decay.

Why?
I am very sick and my doctors told me I need to chill the f*ck out. I have an autoimmune disorder and struggle with severe dysautonomia. I have had no time to slow down and focus on getting treatment which is making my condition deteriorate. After leaving an abusive home, I have been trying to secure a job and housing for several months with no luck. Recently my phone broke and I desperately need to get it replaced. It has been impossible to schedule appointments and interviews without it. However, I cannot afford that and I cannot take on more work without crumbling. Being able to get a new phone and build a financial safety net would alleviate so much stress and allow me to focus on recovering.

After TwitchCon this year I've seen so many people pursue fame with content creation, but it just doesn't drive me the way it does others.

I don't stream to become rich and famous, I stream because growing up I felt so damn isolated from everyone, and I don't want anyone to feel as lonely as I did.
