Oh for sure, I only say other fabrics because they'll do the job if you're just looking for a costume and not looking to spend too much.

Hooded cloaks look cool and everything, but living in a windy city has taught me they do absolutely NOTHING when it picks up, so you're better off.

Definitely not a pro tip: Don't buy a cloak; instead get a large wool, linen, or similar fabric blanket (~5'x~5' is good for most, broader or taller frames should adjust longer), and just get a cheap fibula broach. It will be cheaper and actually way more historically accurate.

Beyond disappointed to learn that Arc Raiders, like The Finals before it, uses AI voice acting.

So many iconic game voice work is little vendor greetings, and to farm that out to a machine is a hollow admission of a lack of care.

I know a thousand actors who would have done better for buttons.

Yeah, 5e gives you a few options but largely restrictive when it comes to kits. I always give people the McDonald's vs Chipotle analogy; one you can ask for modifications to an already built burger, the other you tell them how you want to build your burrito.

The "Go Woke Go Broke" mentality is only wishful thinking and has never had any basis in fact. They said that shit about Disney with Marvel and Star Wars, but those IPs always rake in cash regardless of whether the work is good or not.

When I get people to finally try PF2, they absolutely love the action point economy and how mobile combat is, but it is tough getting them past the idea of having to learn a new system 😔
