I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I've been saying Depression for a while. You can't carve this many people from (stable!) federal jobs, not have jobs open in the private sector to absorb them (or anyone else), and have the price of *everything* continuously rise. Something's going to break.

Everything seems to be cooling down. Remaining protestors are standing around talking with residents and each other and filming. All it took was for the police to be pulled back instead of being aggressively deployed forward.

similarly, as others have pointed out, acolyte was ripe for being star wars' answer to the current romantasy boom only for suits to shrug their shoulders and prematurely end it when their most beloved fans yelled like toddlers (I mean, stream numbers or whatever)

This is me. I really like all the Tron material (Uprising is fantastic), and I would absolutely have gone to see this movie if it had cast someone else.
