Oh it does do it correctly, I agree! But that goes back to my thing about an editor having to have seen that and having to know how that'd turn out. You can't tell me they haven't been doing this long enough to know that.

Especially when you know the pull your outlet has. Imagine if an on-air news site had suddenly led with this. News sites should *ALWAYS* be held to higher standards AND editor had to approve that. And any editor worth beans knows engagement is key -- but not like that. Its genuinely irresponsible.

There is a reason yelling fire in a crowded theater is illegal and why headlines are meant to engage -- call me pretentious if you like but this is basically the mild equivalent of that and them giggling about it before doing so.
