The Geoff Awards is trying to be the Oscars but they're actually barely the Golden Globes
I think these awards felt especially boring because categories like Best RPG and Best Indie each honor overall quality among a subset rather than a specific craft. If a game is the best of the year, and it’s an RPG, obviously it is also the best RPG. Needs an overhaul to avoid pointless repetition

Agreed. Though I have to say most of the stuff I see a black politicians get critiqued for, I see praised or ignored in white politicians, so I'm going to continue to call that out.

Politicians don’t need defense forces and definitely don’t need to be put on pedestals. Black politicians deal with completely different issues that other races wont have to deal with, but they are politicians who deal with our daily lives for the better or worse all the same. They aren’t Gods.

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.
