The Faroes Islands (population: 30,000 and I met most of them when I was there last year, a lovely bunch) just beat Czech Republic (population: 10.8m) in a World Cup qualifier. It's their third win in a row. Imagine the Faroes going to the World Cup!

Banter aside a total of 35608 fans watching 2 womens football matches in Liverpool today is phenomenal.
