It wasn’t just it being on a different day, it was head to head with NXT.
It was actually a minor success given the number was comparable to what they did last year when they went head to head with NXT on Tuesday. AEW was down 2.5% year on year, NXT was down 28.5% year on year.

She was desperate to go to WWE because it was her ‘dream’.
There was TONS left for her to do in AEW - singles matches with Mercedes Mone, Kris Statlander & Megan Bayne, a run as a babyface, etc. The portrayal of AEW as a small pond is unnecessary & disrespectful. Just own your decision to go to WWE.

It’s a captive audience. It doesn’t mean it’s justified. ‘But people will pay’ is not a valid reason. It’s exploitation, it’s milking a fanbase because the owners are ‘the emperor with no clothes’. They’re skint. What Utd do doesn’t necessarily bother me but the thought of Everton copying it does.
