It scares me that the US is horny for "offensive cyber operations" against China, as if they didn't lay off almost everyone responsible for coordinating cyber defense, decided not to pay the rest, and can't even get their critical infrastructure providers to patch 20 year old vulnerabilities.

Nobody is really prepared for when we go cyber-hot with China. Society is going to halt.
The AWS outage made it impossible to pay for parking outside the courthouse this morning.

Amazon should not have that kind of influence.
Something I wrote while visiting Rome in 2017. I do not remember my emotionsl state at the time.

I tried to meditate, gave it a real shot, time investment.

However, to this very day
Sometimes I get an idea and it is gold, lots of times its garbage. However, expermenting has a way of generating more ideas and ways to compliment other ideas/techniques even when they fail miserably.
I already wrote a program that compiled dynamic code in memory (mess with the SOC)

Today, I made the code in memory compile more code in memory from the compiled code in memory. Thinking recursive dynamic compiling and referencing for capabilty diffusion options this may grant me.

N.N.T. The Black Swan paragraph I liked today.
It is interesting to read and think about HOW we think.

it takes total asset ransom compromise and inability to recover to draw attention anymore. sadly...

Epstein Survivor Lisa Phillips: Everyone makes it about Trump and Epstein, but it’s about this whole ring of men. That’s what makes me upset, because we know they were there. We saw them. We know there were royalty, princes, very powerful people in academia and tech, and we saw them at parties.

now I am going to think about that while I can't sleep 🥱
It was not until my twenties that I recognized there are good and bad doctors.

Then came the realization this applies to all disciplines.

Decades later I am reading we over estimate our abilites. I suspect that is why some people stop growing professionally/personally

just wanted to state, not just cyber, lots of jobs have this problem.

Greed or lack of funding seems the root cause.
