Going to Frankfurt on Tuesday. My colleague, ironically as resolutely anti #Brexit as I am, can only access a #UK passport. Wondering how long I’ll be hanging around waiting for him. The blame for this needs to be firmly pinned on the #Brexit traitors but #UKmedia will ignore this again or blame #EU

When I used it, the bus wandered around Dawley, Horsehay and Madeley for about half an hour before eventually going down to Ironbridge. Maybe it’s changed since, as that was a couple of years ago.

Autumn Steam Gala, which starts on Thursday. Every year, the organisers come up with a creative and interesting schedule. From my perspective, I'll be guarding an industrial loco on a #SVR passenger service for the first time ever.

In the midst of all the crap the world’s in, I’ve just had a great week. Wednesday saw the legend that is #EricIdle in Birmingham, just watched again one of my top five favourite films, Mike Leigh’s lovely G&S biopic Topsy Turvy, now I’m starting Monty Python’s Meaning of Life and the wine’s good.
