At Truro, cleared lower-quadrant semaphore T20 controlling the exit from the bay platform - platform 1 - for trains to Falmouth. In the background is semaphore T25 and a ground disc, behind which is a warehouse for a shipping company.

Sellafield Semaphores. 26 March 2022 #photography #railway

A trio of semaphore signals at Sellafield. The two poles are rusty, one significantly more so than the other. The left-hand pole has a calling-on signal used to allow the train into the platform when there is another train still occupying the section between Sellafield and St Bees.

Northern DMUs 158850 and 158816 are seen passing a cleared semaphore as they approach Kirkby Stephen working 2H92 Leeds to Carlisle. A few sheep can be seen on the hill beside the tracks, the landscape rising steeply upwards beyond that.
